Legal Secretary - Conveyancing/Wills & Estates

As a growing boutique firm located in the heart of the CBD, our client is seeking a talented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to assist with property, wills & estates and general commercial work. As part of a small and supportive team, the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in property law and be open to assisting across other transactional legal areas as required. A flexible approach, friendly personality and committed work ethic are a must for this position. 

Duties will include (but not limited to): 
* Opening new matters 
* Diary management 
* Answering incoming calls to the team 
* Liaising with clients, vendors, banks and other third parties 
* Preparing contracts and settlement documents 
* Assisting with wills and estates documents 
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents 
* Monthly billing 
* Dictaphone typing 
* Editing and proofing documents 
* General file management and administration 

About you: 
* Min. 3 years experience in property law 
* Exposure to wills & estates/commercial law advantageous 
* Can-do attitude 
* Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines 
* Reliable and committed work ethic 
* Friendly, approachable and team oriented 
* Strong typing, excel and general computer skills
