Are you a skilled Funds lawyer with 2 to 7 years' post-qualification experience? A leading global law firm is looking to expand its high-performing Funds team in Sydney with the addition of a talented Associate or Senior Associate. This role sits within the firm’s Transactional Practice Group, working alongside some of the most respected lawyers in the industry. The team advises major Australian and global corporates, fund managers, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds across a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters.
The work is varied and includes:
Fund formation and structuring
Capital raising
M&A and investment transactions
Advising on financial services regulation and fund operations
You'll work closely with senior lawyers and partners across the national and global network, and be part of a team that values thought leadership, commercial acumen, and innovation.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
2–7 years’ PQE in Funds law, ideally within a top-tier or international law firm
Strong experience in transactional matters, and ideally, regulatory advice
A commercial mindset and strong client service orientation
Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills
A strong academic background and relevant legal qualifications
A proactive and team-oriented approach
Willingness to mentor juniors and share your experience
