We are partnering with a highly regarded commercial firm seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join their busy team on a 3–4 month contract. This is an urgent need due to two senior team members commencing parental leave, so you’ll be stepping into a high-performing practice with immediate hands-on work.
You’ll work closely with senior lawyers and the broader finance team across a strong pipeline of matters. The focus of the role is running transactions end-to-end, with an emphasis on non-bank lender work, including:
Commercial mortgage matters
General banking & finance transactions
Fast-turnaround financing work
Acting for lender-side clients in a dynamic, high-volume environment
This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of complex transactions within a supportive and well-structured practice.
We are seeking a lawyer with:
4+ years’ PQE in banking & finance
Strong experience running B&F transactions autonomously
Exposure to commercial mortgage or non-bank lender work (highly regarded)
Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
A proactive, commercial and solutions-driven approach
Step into a busy and sophisticated B&F practice
Work on quality matters with major lender-side clients
Immediate start with high-impact work
