We are partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a junior to mid-level Banking & Finance lawyer to join their busy Melbourne office. This role offers an excellent chance to develop your banking and finance practice within a highly regarded team known for advising on complex and high-profile transactions across Australia and internationally.
The Role
As part of the Banking & Finance team, you will work on a diverse range of matters, including:
Acquisition finance and leveraged lending
Syndicated and bilateral lending arrangements
Real estate finance and asset-backed lending
Refinancing and restructuring
Advising banks, financial institutions, and corporates
You’ll be supported by experienced partners and senior associates, gaining exposure to both domestic and cross-border transactions, and working closely with clients from a variety of industries.

About You
1–4 years’ post-qualification experience in banking and finance law, ideally from a top-tier or international firm
Solid drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
Commercial awareness and eagerness to learn and develop
Ability to manage competing priorities and work well within a team
Strong communication and client relationship skills
