Position Overview

As a Lawyer in the Banking and Finance team, you will work closely with experienced legal professionals and gain exposure to a diverse range of transactions. The role provides a supportive environment for career growth and professional development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on banking and finance laws and regulations to support accurate and up-to-date advice.

  • Draft and review legal documents relating to banking and finance transactions, including loan agreements, mortgages, security documents, and regulatory compliance.

  • Assist in building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing legal support under the guidance of senior lawyers to progress and settle matters.

  • Use PEXA for efficient electronic conveyancing.

  • Contribute to due diligence processes, ensuring comprehensive legal review of banking and finance matters.

  • Manage and organise legal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.


Qualifications

  • Admitted as an Australian legal practitioner with 2–4 years’ post-admission experience.

  • Experience in banking and finance, title transactions, commercial leasing, and residential/commercial property matters.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
