A top-tier global law firm is looking to appoint a talented Banking & Finance Lawyer with 2–6 years’ PAE to join its leading finance team in either Sydney or Melbourne. This is an exceptional opportunity to work across major cross-border and domestic financing matters with access to international secondments, cutting-edge transactions, and an award-winning culture of development and inclusion.
The Role
You’ll work with major Australian and global clients including banks, private equity houses, corporates and government entities on complex, high-value matters, including:
Acquisition finance and leveraged transactions
Project and construction finance (including infrastructure and energy)
Corporate and syndicated lending
Real estate finance, receivables finance, securitisation and structured products
Exposure to derivatives and debt capital markets work
The work is broad and high-impact, with opportunities to lead matters and collaborate with teams across Australia and globally.
About You
We’re seeking a commercially minded finance lawyer who brings:
2–6 years of relevant experience in banking & finance law
A strong academic background and technical drafting skills
Interest or experience in large-scale financing transactions
An appetite for professional growth and international collaboration
The ability to build strong client relationships and work independently or as part of a global team
