An outstanding opportunity is available for a talented Banking & Finance Lawyer/Associate (2–6 years PQE) to join a high-performing Brisbane team within a leading national law firm.
This role offers exposure to complex, high-value domestic and cross-border transactions, working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on strategically significant matters.
You will work across a broad range of sophisticated banking and finance transactions, including:
Property finance
Project and infrastructure finance
Leveraged and acquisition finance
General corporate lending
Cross-border transactions
Distressed debt restructures and recapitalisations
The team is known for its collaborative culture and strong client relationships. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of key aspects of transactions, build direct client exposure, and play an active role in deal execution while continuing to develop technically and commercially.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
2–6 years’ PQE in banking & finance from a reputable firm
Strong technical drafting and analytical skills
Experience working on complex financing transactions
A commercial, solutions-focused mindset
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
