About the Role
We are seeking a Lawyer/Associate with 2-5 years’ PQE to join a leading Melbourne-based Banking & Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of matters including corporate finance, property and construction finance, fund work, asset finance, receivables financing, and advisory work across multiple areas, including PPSA.
You will collaborate closely with other practice groups such as Insolvency, Property, and Corporate, working on both domestic and cross-border transactions. This role offers exposure to high-profile, complex financing arrangements, advising financial institutions and corporate borrowers.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
2-5 years’ experience in a reputable banking and finance practice
Strong technical skills in front-end transactional work
Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities
Commercial acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, client-focused advice
A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
