The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and motivated Commercial Lawyer to join a well-regarded legal team. This full-time position offers exposure to a broad range of commercial matters and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
Working across diverse industries, you will be responsible for:
Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts
Assisting with business and company acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction support
Advising on franchising matters
(Optional) Supporting property-related transactions including commercial and retail leasing
About You
You are a commercially astute and client-focused lawyer who thrives in a dynamic environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:
3–4 years' post-admission experience in commercial law (private practice or in-house)
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to manage matters autonomously and as part of a team
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Clear and confident communication skills, with a client-first approach
A solution-oriented mindset and an interest in understanding client business objectives
Exposure to property and leasing transactions (advantageous, but not essential)
Availability to work full-time
