About this Role
A boutique litigation practice in Melbourne’s inner east is seeking a driven and technically strong Associate-level lawyer (3–5 years PQE) to join their established and respected disputes team. Working closely with an experienced senior practitioner, this role offers exceptional exposure across a broad range of complex and high-stakes matters.
This opportunity is ideal for a commercially astute litigator looking to deepen their expertise and build strong client relationships in a firm that values autonomy, flexibility and professional growth. You will work across a diverse mix of matters including:
Contractual and commercial disputes
Corporate insolvency and bankruptcy matters
Building, construction, and owners corporation litigation
Property and retail leasing disputes
Administrative law and regulatory investigations
You will play a hands-on role in litigation strategy, drafting and advocacy, and will be given increasing responsibility to manage files and liaise directly with clients, counsel and other stakeholders.
You’ll bring:
3–5 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
Demonstrated ability to manage files and work with minimal supervision
Solid advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills
An interest in a broad range of litigation including property, construction, and insolvency
A practical, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
A collaborative attitude with excellent client service instincts
A genuinely broad litigation practice with a strong and steady pipeline of quality work
