The Opportunity
A Global law firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its dispute resolution team in Melbourne. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of matters, including general commercial litigation, construction disputes, class actions, and financial services litigation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior lawyers and have opportunities to work on cross-border disputes, advising a wide variety of clients across multiple industries.
The team is experienced in handling complex disputes and investigations, operating seamlessly across jurisdictions, including national courts, domestic and international arbitrations, and specialist tribunals.
About You
Between 2 to 5 years of dispute resolution experience gained in a top-tier or mid-tier law firm, or in-house.
Excellent drafting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Commercially minded with strong negotiation and articulation abilities.
High attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, mentor junior colleagues, and also work independently.
Proactive, positive, and energetic approach with a commitment to excellent client service and market engagement.
