Senior Associate – Litigation & Insolvency | 5–10 PAE | Brisbane
A leading commercial practice is looking to add a talented Senior Associate to its high-performing Litigation & Insolvency team in Brisbane. This is a career-defining opportunity to work on high-value, technically challenging matters across banking & finance disputes, insolvency and broader commercial litigation.
The Opportunity
This role suits a commercially astute litigator with strong experience in corporate disputes and financial restructuring. You’ll join a respected, cohesive disputes team that acts for major national clients, insolvency practitioners, and financial institutions on matters involving complex insolvency, regulatory risk, enforcement and fraud.
What You’ll Be Doing
Advising and acting in complex commercial disputes, especially in insolvency and banking litigation
Working on matters under the Corporations Act and PPSA
Collaborating closely with partners and mentoring juniors
Engaging directly with clients, counsel, and insolvency professionals
Supporting business development and contributing to a growing national team
About You
5–10 years’ PAE in litigation with a focus on insolvency, finance, or commercial disputes
Strong written advocacy and advisory skills
Experience in managing complex, high-stakes files
Commercial mindset and attention to detail
Ability to build client trust and contribute to team culture
