Property Associate (2-4 Years PAE) – Leading National Firm

The Role

In this role, you won't just be reviewing contracts—you’ll be advising on the entire development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Complex Transactions: Running matters involving put and call options, joint ventures, and development agreements.

  • Off-the-Plan Projects: Preparing master contracts and providing vital support to the firm’s dedicated off-the-plan sales team.

  • Titling & Governance: Drafting bespoke documentation for strata, stratum, and community title arrangements.

  • Advisory: Providing expert advice to owners corporations, community associations, and navigating complicated FIRB requirements.

  • Mentorship: Utilizing your supervisory skills to guide junior team members and paralegals.



About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a disciplined and methodical lawyer with a high attention to detail. You should possess:

  • Experience: 2-4 years PAE in NSW commercial and residential property law.

  • Technical Knowledge: A strong handle on NSW conveyancing, vendor disclosure obligations, GST, and stamp duty.

  • Structuring Expertise: Familiarity with various agreement structures (nominations, options, etc.) and diverse titling schemes.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in PEXA and an eagerness to embrace emerging legal technology.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional drafting, well-honed negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive under a high-volume workload.

  • Desirable: Knowledge of leasing and mortgage documentation is a plus, but not essential.
