An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Construction Lawyer (2–4 years PAE) to join one of Queensland’s leading Construction, Infrastructure and Projects teams. This high-performing national team is recognised for its depth of expertise, quality of clients and involvement in major construction law matters across the State and beyond.
You’ll work on large-scale projects across transport, social infrastructure, renewables, residential, commercial and industrial sectors — advising government, developers, contractors and engineering companies on all aspects of project delivery and dispute resolution.
The role will see you:
Advise on contract and project delivery issues during and post-construction
Act in complex litigation, arbitration, adjudications and expert determinations
Prepare legal submissions, draft evidence and manage day-to-day conduct of matters
Instruct Counsel and technical experts
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals (commensurate with experience)
You’ll be supported by a large, collaborative national team, with structured training, mentoring and opportunities to work alongside some of the country’s foremost construction and infrastructure lawyers.
You are a motivated lawyer with 2–4 years’ post-admission experience, ideally with back-end construction or infrastructure exposure. Strong litigators with civil procedure experience from resources, mining or energy sectors are also encouraged to apply.
