Back-End Construction Lawyer (5+ PAE)

Major National Law Firm – Construction, Infrastructure & Projects Practice

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced back-end construction lawyer to join one of the State’s largest and busiest Construction, Infrastructure & Projects teams. Applicants should have 5+ years PAE, including a minimum of 3 years in construction law and construction-related disputes. The role offers genuine collaboration with senior lawyers across a large specialist practice at both local and national levels.


You will work across major projects in sectors such as transport, social infrastructure, renewables, commercial and industrial, acting for government, developers, contractors, and multinational engineering companies. The work includes managing disputes during and after project delivery, acting in adjudications, expert determinations, complex litigation and arbitration, preparing detailed advices and submissions, running matters day-to-day, instructing Counsel and technical experts, and supervising junior lawyers and paralegals. This role provides exposure to some of the country’s most high-profile and technically challenging projects.


About You

You will have strong construction disputes experience and a deep understanding of project operations and delivery. Candidates from Associate, Senior Associate, Special Counsel or in-house construction roles are encouraged to apply.
