Senior Associate – Construction Disputes | Melbourne | 5+ PQE

A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Construction & Infrastructure team in Melbourne. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of contentious construction matters, working with a broad client base including contractors, government entities, and private sector principals across various sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advise on complex construction disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and adjudication proceedings.

  • Provide strategic legal counsel on contract administration and dispute resolution.

  • Collaborate with clients across sectors such as infrastructure, transport, energy, and commercial development.

  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the team's expertise.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in construction law, with a focus on disputes.

  • Proven ability to handle complex construction litigation and dispute resolution matters.

  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
