This growing national Construction, Infrastructure & Projects team works on complex, high-profile matters across Australia. You’ll be joining motivated, supportive partners and colleagues at an exciting stage of expansion, with genuine opportunities to contribute to the development of the practice.


About the role

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse client base in the construction industry, spanning both public and private sectors. The focus is primarily on construction disputes, with scope to be involved in front-end advisory work.

The practice regularly acts for asset owners, including institutional investors and government bodies, while also advising contractors, consultants, and other industry participants — ensuring a broad and varied workload.

You will work across the entire project lifecycle, including:

  • Negotiating and drafting project documentation

  • Advising during procurement and construction

  • Dispute management and strategic advice

  • Formal dispute resolution, including litigation and security of payment adjudications


About you

You will bring:

  • 5+ years PAE from a reputable construction practice

  • Experience across NSW courts and tribunals

  • Strong experience in security of payment adjudications

  • A genuine passion for construction law

You are a self-starter with excellent communication and drafting skills who thrives in a busy, collaborative environment. You enjoy mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals and take pride in sharing knowledge and developing others.
