About the team
If it’s a project that goes into or comes out of the ground, chances are our team has been involved — preparing documents that outline how it will happen and how risks will be managed, or helping resolve disputes over time, quality, or cost.
You’ll be joining a motivated and supportive team that’s growing nationally, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced partners and help strengthen a dynamic Construction, Infrastructure & Projects practice.
About the role
This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients across the construction industry, spanning both private and public sectors. You’ll primarily focus on dispute resolution, with the opportunity to be involved in front-end advisory matters as well.
The team works with all industry participants, with a strong focus on asset owners — including institutional investors and government clients — providing exceptional variety across the project lifecycle.
You’ll gain experience in:
Negotiating and documenting major projects
Supporting clients through procurement and construction phases
Managing disputes and formal dispute resolution processes, including security of payment matters
About you
We’re seeking a construction lawyer with at least 5 years’ post-admission experience gained from a respected construction practice. You’ll have solid experience across courts and tribunals in NSW and in security of payment adjudications.
You will bring:
A genuine passion for the construction and infrastructure sector
Strong drafting and communication skills
The ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining attention to detail
A collaborative mindset and an interest in mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals
Why join us
You’ll enjoy a supportive, flexible, and forward-thinking work environment that values excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.
Employee benefits include:
Modern offices with a friendly, team-oriented culture
Flexible working arrangements, including “dress for your day” and the option to purchase additional leave
Paid career breaks and study leave
Employee Assistance Program (EAP), flu vaccinations, and a range of social activities
Employee referral program and recognition initiatives
