Commercial & Corporate Lawyer | Mid-Level | Broad Client Base
We are currently seeking a personable and commercially minded Commercial & Corporate Lawyer to join a well-established and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work across a diverse range of clients — from innovative startups to established SMEs and ASX-listed companies.
About the Role:
This role offers a broad scope of work, including:
Advising on the Corporations Act, Australian Consumer Law, and the PPSR regime
Drafting and negotiating share sale agreements, including earn-out arrangements
Handling business sales, complex shareholder agreements, and partnerships of trusts
Assisting with employee share schemes and company secretarial work
Negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts
You'll be working in a high-performing, collegiate environment with experienced lawyers who value collaboration and innovative thinking.
About You:
You’ll ideally bring:
3–6 years' PAE
Strong experience across general commercial and corporate law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sharp commercial acumen and the ability to assess client risk profiles
A creative and solutions-focused approach to complex legal issues
Solid negotiation and drafting skills
An interest in business development and marketing is highly regarded — your initiative in this area will be supported and encouraged.
