Associate – Corporate (M&A / ECM) | Sydney
A leading global corporate practice is looking to appoint an Associate with around 3–5 years’ post-admission experience to support growth in high-profile transactions, including M&A, IPOs and ECM advisory work. The opportunity
In this role, you will:
• Advise on private and public M&A, IPOs and secondary advisory matters
• Work directly with multiple partners, gaining exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions
• Draft and review key documents, and contribute to complex deal structuring
• Be supported by experienced senior lawyers who will coach and mentor your progression
• Work on domestic matters as well as cross-border transactions drawing on a global network
About you
We’re seeking a lawyer who:
• Has solid experience in corporate transactions, ideally with a focus on M&A, ECM or IPOs
• Delivers high-quality drafting, research and advisory work
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Brings an analytical mindset and enjoys working on complex matters
• Is eager to contribute to large deals across Australia, PNG and internationally
