We are partnering with a prestigious national law firm to recruit an experienced Corporate Lawyer or Senior Associate to join their Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on sophisticated Australian and cross-border corporate transactions, including equity raisings, IPOs, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, and ASX listing rule compliance.
About the Role
You will play a leading role on key transaction aspects such as:
Negotiating and drafting transactional documents
Advising on governance, board strategy, and regulatory compliance
Leading teams and supervising junior lawyers
Engaging directly with clients across a range of industries including technology, software, health & life sciences, financial services, and retail
What We’re Looking For
4–8 years post-qualification experience in a respected corporate law practice
Experience in equity capital markets is highly advantageous
Proven ability to lead transactions and drive matters to completion
Strong client service ethic and exceptional work discipline
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills
Passionate about mentoring junior lawyers and providing constructive feedback
