A leading international law firm is seeking experienced Senior Associates to join its Corporate Transactions team in Sydney. This role comes at a time of strategic investment and strong growth, with the firm continuing to expand its capabilities in high-profile transactional work.
The Corporate Transactions team advises on a broad range of complex and high-value matters, including takeovers, IPOs, asset and business acquisitions and disposals, equity capital markets, restructures and recapitalisations, joint ventures, corporate governance, and ASX listing rule compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing corporate transactions from initiation through to completion.
Advising clients on a range of regulatory, governance, and commercial matters.
Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
Supporting clients with complex deal structuring and strategic decision-making.
Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the overall growth of the practice.
About You:
6+ years' post-admission experience in corporate or transactional law, ideally within a top-tier or mid-tier firm, or an in-house legal team.
Solid experience in managing end-to-end commercial transactions, preferably with exposure to the energy or resources sectors.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive ability to identify legal and commercial risks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to clients’ business needs.
Confidence in leading negotiations and contributing to effective commercial outcomes.
A collaborative mindset and a desire to engage with clients and build long-term relationships.
Innovative drafting skills and a solutions-focused approach.
