We are working with a global law firm to identify an experienced Corporate M&A Senior Associate to join its highly regarded transactional team in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role within a market-leading corporate practice known for its depth, international reach, and high-calibre clients.
The Role
This is a hands-on, senior-level position offering exposure to a diverse mix of complex and high-value transactions, including:
Public and private M&A
Private equity and venture capital
Joint ventures and strategic alliances
Corporate restructures and governance matters
The practice advises across multiple sectors including energy, infrastructure, technology, financial services, and government. You will work closely with prominent senior lawyers on headline transactions while also mentoring junior team members and managing key client relationships.

About You
You will bring a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law, ideally with strong exposure to M&A and private equity
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Confidence in leading transactions and managing client expectations
A collaborative, commercial, and proactive mindset
