Corporate & Commercial Lawyer | 2–5 PQE | National Mid-Tier | Canberra
A well-established national law firm is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute corporate lawyer to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2–5 PAE lawyer looking to work across both private and government clients on complex corporate advisory and M&A transactions, in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll work on a varied and stimulating mix of matters including:
Shareholder agreements and corporate structuring
Business and share acquisitions and disposals
Private equity, capital raising and venture capital transactions
Mid-market M&A deals
Governance and regulatory compliance matters
You’ll be working closely with experienced partners who value initiative and autonomy, while offering strong mentoring and career development.
What We're Looking For
2–5 years’ post-admission experience in corporate or commercial law
Solid drafting skills and the ability to manage end-to-end transactions
A strong understanding of the Corporations Act and Australian regulatory frameworks
Exposure to government advisory or in-house public sector experience (desirable but not essential)
A confident communicator with a client-first mindset and attention to detail
