An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join a leading Corporate & Commercial team in Adelaide. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory work, working with a broad client base across various industries.
Advise clients on complex corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital raisings.
Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and service contracts.
Provide strategic corporate governance advice to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored legal solutions.
Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
Proven experience in managing complex transactions and providing strategic legal advice.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and client management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage matters independently.
