Employment Associate | 3+ PQE

We are working with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit an Employment Associate (3+ PQE) for their growing Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a recognised leader in workplace relations law on high-quality matters spanning advisory, transactional, and contentious work.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll join a well-established and commercially focused employment practice advising on the full spectrum of workplace relations matters. The work is fast-paced, engaging, and highly varied, including:
Managing employment disputes and litigation across various courts and tribunals
Conducting complex workplace investigations, including misconduct, bullying, harassment, and whistleblower matters
Advising on the employment aspects of business transactions, including restructures, acquisitions, and outsourcing
Supporting clients on senior executive employment, terminations, and incentive arrangements
Providing advice on contingent workforce arrangements, including contractors and gig economy issues
Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and enterprise agreements
You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers and partners who are known for their commercial, solution-oriented approach. The team services a strong and diverse client base including major corporates, government entities, and emerging businesses.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years post-admission experience in employment / workplace relations law
Solid experience in litigation and/or workplace investigations will be highly regarded
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice
Excellent communication, drafting, and organisational skills
A team-focused mindset and eagerness to contribute to business development activities
