Senior Associate – Employment & Workplace Relations | 5+ PAE | Sydney

We are working with a highly regarded national firm that is seeking a Senior Associate to join its collaborative and respected Employment & Workplace Relations team in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior position within a dynamic, well-supported practice advising major clients across sectors including finance, retail, healthcare, education, construction, and manufacturing.


The Role

You will be involved in both contentious and advisory employment law matters, with a strong focus on:

  • Enterprise bargaining and industrial relations

  • Workplace disputes and litigation

  • Employment contracts, policies, performance, and termination matters

  • Supporting a diverse mix of clients, from SMEs to national corporations

You’ll be responsible for running your own matters, advising clients, and contributing to business development initiatives, while mentoring and supporting junior lawyers in a friendly and high-performing team.


About You

You will bring:

  • At least 5 years' post-admission experience in employment law and/or industrial relations

  • Experience advising on enterprise bargaining and employment frameworks

  • Strong client-facing and business development skills

  • Commercial acumen and a practical, solutions-focused approach

  • Proven ability to manage files independently and work well in a team

  • A genuine interest in growing your career long-term with a supportive and inclusive team
