The Opportunity
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Employment Lawyer (4-7 PAE) to join a growing and highly regarded employment practice. This team advises major corporates, government bodies, and senior executives on a diverse mix of advisory and litigation matters, and is consistently recognised for handling business-critical and high-profile employment disputes.
The Role
You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of employment and workplace law matters, including:
Employment litigation in the Fair Work Commission, state tribunals and the Federal Courts
Workplace investigations and whistleblower disclosures
Employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions
Drafting and advising on contracts, policies, and industrial relations issues
Advising on workplace change, performance management, and terminations
Workplace health and safety investigations and prosecutions
About You
We are seeking an ambitious and driven lawyer with:
4-7 years’ post-admission experience in employment / workplace law
Demonstrated experience across both advisory and litigation matters
Strong drafting and advice writing skills with excellent attention to detail
Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage matters autonomously as well as work collaboratively in a team
A proactive and commercial mindset, with a genuine interest in developing expertise in employment law
