The Opportunity

A leading global law firm is seeking a talented and commercially savvy Associate with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience to join its high-performing Transactional Practice Group. You’ll be working on market-leading deals across complex M&A, privatisations, PPPs, energy, infrastructure, and major projects, often involving cross-border elements and collaboration with offices across the globe.

This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your skills on some of the most significant transactions in the market, supported by a collaborative and international team environment.


What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work closely with senior lawyers and clients on a wide range of corporate and project-based matters, including:

  • High-end public and private M&A

  • Large-scale infrastructure and energy transactions (including renewables)

  • Strategic investments and structured finance deals

  • Commercial contracts and joint ventures

  • Cross-border and multijurisdictional deals


About You

You will be an Australian-qualified lawyer with:

  • 2–4 years' post-qualification experience in M&A, corporate, or project-based work

  • A background from a top-tier or leading international firm (preferred)

  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or renewables projects (highly regarded)

  • Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commercial approach

  • Interest in cross-border matters and a willingness to engage with global clients and colleagues
