A premier global law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with strong experience in energy and infrastructure projects to join their expanding Projects & Energy Transition team in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in some of Australia's most progressive and market-shaping energy and climate-tech projects.
About the Role
Join a nationally integrated team at the forefront of energy transition and infrastructure development. You’ll advise on all aspects of major energy projects—from procurement and development through to delivery and regulatory compliance—including power purchase agreements, climate-tech investments, and carbon market mechanisms.
Work alongside recognised leaders in the field and contribute to high-profile transactions in renewables, storage, transmission, and emissions reduction initiatives. You’ll also collaborate across offices with a high-calibre national and international team.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years’ post-admission experience in energy projects, infrastructure, or construction
A strong background in front-end work, ideally including regulatory, transactional and commercial project matters
Proven ability to manage clients and contribute to the broader practice
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset
A strong desire to build your profile in the energy transition and renewables space
A collaborative, energetic and growth-focused approach
