Energy & Resources Associate – Brisbane
We’re partnering with a highly respected global law firm that operates seamlessly as one firm worldwide, with an impressive footprint of over 40 offices and 2,400 lawyers. In Australia, the team has more than doubled in size over the past five years and continues to grow across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join their renowned Energy & Resources practice, advising clients across the full spectrum of the energy sector – including developers, financial institutions, national oil companies, governments and energy traders – on major projects in key resource jurisdictions.
About the role
Based in Brisbane, this Associate role (3–5 years’ PQE) offers diverse, high-profile work, including:
• High profile energy projects
• Financing transactions
• Mining and pipeline matters
• Legislative and policy advice
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
• Joint ventures, capital raisings, foreign investment, and native title issues
You’ll work closely with a collaborative national and global team of specialists known for M&A-related matters and complex energy sector transactions.
