A highly respected national law firm is looking to appoint a Planning & Environment Lawyer with 3+ years of post-admission experience to join its Melbourne team. The Role
You’ll be working with a collaborative, high-performing team across a broad mix of planning, environmental, and local government matters, including:

  • Planning and Environment Court litigation

  • Drafting infrastructure agreements and statutory instruments

  • Advising on local laws, planning schemes, and project delivery

  • Providing legal support on major development and infrastructure projects

  • Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers

This is a dynamic role offering the chance to advise government bodies, developers, and institutional clients on high-impact matters that shape communities and policy.

About You
You will bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in planning and environment law

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures

  • Excellent drafting, advisory, and advocacy skills

  • A commercially minded, client-first approach

  • Proven ability to manage matters and supervise junior lawyers
