A highly respected national law firm is looking to appoint a Planning & Environment Lawyer with 3+ years of post-admission experience to join its Melbourne team. The Role
You’ll be working with a collaborative, high-performing team across a broad mix of planning, environmental, and local government matters, including:
Planning and Environment Court litigation
Drafting infrastructure agreements and statutory instruments
Advising on local laws, planning schemes, and project delivery
Providing legal support on major development and infrastructure projects
Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers
This is a dynamic role offering the chance to advise government bodies, developers, and institutional clients on high-impact matters that shape communities and policy.
About You
You will bring:
At least 3 years of experience in planning and environment law
Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures
Excellent drafting, advisory, and advocacy skills
A commercially minded, client-first approach
Proven ability to manage matters and supervise junior lawyers
