Are you a planning & environment lawyer looking to work closer to home while still doing challenging and meaningful work? A well-respected firm in Western Sydney is seeking a capable and community-minded lawyer to join their Environmental Planning & Local Government team.
The Opportunity
This role offers a unique opportunity to work predominantly with local government clients across a variety of advisory and litigation matters. You'll be part of a close-knit team that works across everything from development and planning advice to prosecutions and merit appeals.
This is a balanced role, with both courtroom exposure and strategic advisory work, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and direct client engagement.
What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 2 years' post-admission experience in planning, environment, or local government law
Strong drafting and advocacy skills, with attention to detail
A team-oriented approach and a willingness to take initiative
Previous experience acting for councils or regulatory authorities highly regarded
Confident communicator with sound time management skills
