A well-established mid-tier law firm with multiple offices across NSW and Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Legal Assistant to join its Historical Abuse & Litigation team based in Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant who thrives in a busy environment and is looking to develop a long-term career within a reputable and supportive firm.
Working closely with a dynamic legal team, you will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support across a busy practice that includes workers compensation, work injury damages (WID), motor vehicle accidents (MVA), public liability, and related litigation matters.
• Providing comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support
• Preparing standard correspondence, court documents, and high-volume mail
• File and document management, including opening and closing files
• Extensive diary and calendar management
• Liaising directly with clients and external professionals
• Organising meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Data entry, filing, photocopying, and general administrative tasks
• Supporting the broader team as required
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a legal or professional services environment (preferred)
• Exposure to personal injury matters and procedures (highly regarded)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and professionals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
