As a Senior Associate – Family Law, you will take on a leadership-focused role where your experience is genuinely valued. You’ll manage your own caseload while playing an active role in mentoring and supporting junior lawyers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing complex family law matters end-to-end
• Providing strategic, practical advice to clients
• Advocacy in the Family Court
• Drafting high-level legal documents and correspondence
• Briefing and working collaboratively with barristers
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Guiding clients through sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
You’re an experienced family lawyer ready to step into a role with long-term growth and leadership opportunities. To be successful, you’ll bring:
• Minimum 4+ years’ PAE in Family Law
• Proven ability to manage your own files independently
• Strong experience working with barristers
• Confident courtroom advocacy and client representation
• A genuine interest in mentoring and supporting junior lawyers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with efficient workflow management
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word; fast, accurate typing
• Experience with LEAP (preferred but not essential)
• A genuine passion for family law and helping clients through challenging times
