Senior Associate – Family Law | Sydney
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Family Law Senior Associate to join a prominent and well-regarded national practice. This is a standout position for someone looking to step into a visible role with a growing, collaborative team and strong leadership.
Join a busy and expanding Family Law team with access to complex and interesting matters. The work includes:
Property settlements and financial agreements (including high net worth and complex structures)
Parenting disputes and child support matters
Divorce and spousal maintenance
Family violence and urgent injunctions
Representation in mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
You will work alongside industry-leading professionals and be supported by a broader national network with presence across major cities.
At least 5 years’ PAE in family law, ideally from a reputable mid-to-top tier or boutique specialist firm
Strong technical skills and confident handling of both property and parenting matters
Experience managing clients through difficult and emotionally charged legal processes
A client-centric approach with strong communication, empathy, and discretion
Accreditation in Family Law or a Master’s in the discipline (desirable)
Clear and transparent career progression in a growing national firm
