Front-End Construction & Infrastructure Lawyer | 3+ PQE | Sydney
An exceptional opportunity exists for a technically strong and commercially savvy lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE to join a top-tier front-end construction and infrastructure team, working closely with a well-known market leader on high-value, nationally significant matters.
About the Opportunity
This is a front-end role advising major public and private sector clients on the legal structuring, procurement and delivery of infrastructure, energy, transport, health and commercial development projects.
You’ll gain hands-on experience drafting and negotiating key project documentation and advising on strategic risk allocation, with direct exposure to a range of sophisticated government and commercial clients.
Key Areas of Focus
Major infrastructure and capital works projects (transport, health, energy, water, education)
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts (D&C, EPC, O&M, consultancy agreements)
Advising on procurement strategy, delivery models and risk allocation
Supporting clients through the full project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion
Working closely with senior partners and cross-practice teams nationally
What You’ll Bring
3+ years’ post-admission experience in front-end construction or major projects
Excellent drafting skills and knowledge of standard form contracts (AS, GC21, FIDIC, etc.)
Experience advising government or top-tier private clients (desirable)
Strong commercial instincts and a solutions-focused mindset
A collaborative, driven approach with a passion for infrastructure and construction
