The team advises across the full spectrum of financial services, including banking, insurance, and funds management—covering both institutional and retail markets. The practice works seamlessly with colleagues across corporate, disputes, and finance teams, as well as with non-legal consulting specialists, offering clients end-to-end regulatory solutions.

Key Areas of Work May Include:

  • Advising on financial services licensing and regulatory obligations.

  • Regulatory reform, compliance, and enforcement matters.

  • Fintech, payments, digital assets, and consumer credit frameworks.

  • Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) compliance.

  • Supporting clients on cross-border regulatory matters and market infrastructure.

About You:

  • Strong interest in regulation and a passion for solving complex regulatory challenges.

  • Post-qualification legal experience in financial services regulatory law, ideally gained at a top-tier firm, regulator, market infrastructure provider, or reputable international firm.

  • Familiarity with regulated markets, payment systems, digital assets, and AML/CTF obligations is highly desirable.

  • Excellent academic credentials.

  • Strong communication and drafting skills, with a commercial and practical approach.

  • Enthusiasm for cross-border work and emerging areas in financial technology and compliance.

  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive interest in client relationship management and business development.
