A leading global law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Associate (3–6 years PAE) to join their growing Melbourne practice. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the most complex, high-stakes disputes in the market, including cross-border litigation, regulatory investigations, and major infrastructure and shareholder disputes.
The Role
You’ll join a cohesive, international team working across:
Multi-party commercial and construction litigation
Shareholder, partnership, and class action disputes
Regulatory investigations involving major bodies (ACCC, ASIC, AER)
Private and public international law matters
High-end disputes strategy and trial preparation
Coordinating experts and external counsel
Mentoring junior team members (where applicable)
You’ll be supported from day one with access to global colleagues, international matters, and development resources to help you step confidently into a leadership track.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a driven and ambitious litigation lawyer with:
3–6 years of post-admission litigation experience in a major firm or top-tier disputes practice
A strong academic background and excellent analytical skills
Solid exposure to regulatory, construction, or corporate disputes
Commercial awareness, professional maturity, and strong judgment
Interest in complex international work and long-term global career progression
