A leading national law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Government & Institutional Insurance team in Brisbane. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of complex insurance matters, including public liability, professional indemnity, and administrative law claims. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of experienced lawyers and contribute to delivering high-quality legal services to a broad client base.
Manage a varied caseload of government and institutional insurance matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex issues related to public liability, professional indemnity, and administrative law.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.
Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
Admission as a solicitor in Australia with a current practicing certificate.
A minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in insurance law, with a focus on government and institutional clients.
Demonstrated expertise in handling complex insurance matters, including public liability and professional indemnity claims.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage client relationships effectively.
