Join a leading national law firm as a Senior Associate in their growing Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex corporate and debt restructuring, banking enforcement, and commercial disputes.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Associate to provide expert advice on insolvency, debt restructuring, banking enforcement, and complex commercial disputes. You will work closely with financial institutions, businesses in financial distress, insolvency practitioners, and other stakeholders, advising on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
Negotiating and drafting agreements related to restructuring and recovery strategies
Advising on contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters
Managing commercial disputes and enforcement actions
Participating in regulatory discussions and litigation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including financial advisors and industry experts
Who We’re Looking For
5–7 years’ experience in commercial disputes, insolvency, or banking and finance law
Strong knowledge of financing and security documents, secured creditor rights, receivership, and enforcement
Proven ability to identify and manage legal risk with commercial insight
ARITA Advanced Certificate preferred
Proactive, analytical, and collaborative, with excellent attention to detail
