The firm is well-regarded for delivering exceptional, strategic, and practical legal advice to clients across Insurance, Corporate & Commercial, Workplace Relations & Safety, Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Property, and Health Law.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated lawyer with 3–6 years’ post-admission experience to take the next step in their career within a supportive and high-performing insurance litigation team.
You’ll work across a broad range of public and product liability matters, including personal injury and property damage claims, acting for major Australian insurers, institutions, and government bodies.
Working closely with senior lawyers, you’ll have hands-on involvement in all aspects of your matters — from strategy and client engagement to advocacy and dispute resolution. You’ll receive direct mentoring from experienced practitioners who are committed to your professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of public and product liability claims
Conduct detailed legal research and prepare high-quality advice and pleadings
Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver commercial, outcome-driven solutions
Contribute to the preparation of court documents and assist with dispute resolution strategy
Work collaboratively within a supportive and collegiate team environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
3–6 years’ post-admission experience in insurance litigation, ideally with a general liability focus
Strong technical skills in legal research, drafting, and analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
A proactive approach, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
A genuine interest in public liability litigation and developing expertise in this area
A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Skills & Attributes
Understanding of key legal issues in insurance law and ability to provide advice in a commercial context
Confidence dealing directly with clients and fostering trusted relationships
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple active matters
Sound problem-solving and lateral thinking ability
