An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Solicitor (1–3 years’ PQE) to join a leading Casualty & Commercial team in Sydney. The Role
As a Solicitor, you will:
Assist in the management of professional indemnity, public liability and insurance litigation matters.
Draft high-quality legal advice, reports, pleadings and correspondence.
Undertake legal research, information synthesis and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Develop and implement sound case management strategies to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues, experts, and clients to verify positions and shape litigation approaches.
Maintain clear client communication, keeping stakeholders updated on case progress.
Contribute to the firm’s culture through knowledge sharing, teamwork, and client-focused delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
1–3 years’ PQE in professional indemnity, casualty, general insurance, or related litigation.
A current Australian practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
Strong drafting, communication, and advocacy skills.
The ability to manage multiple files, court deadlines, and client expectations simultaneously.
A proactive, curious and adaptable approach with genuine enthusiasm for insurance litigation.
Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
