Insurance Lawyer 3-4 PQE MELB

An exciting opportunity has opened for a lawyer with 3–4 years’ post-admission experience to join a highly respected public liability practice at a leading national firm. Key responsibilities:

  • Provide commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of public liability claims

  • Conduct legal research, draft advice, and manage client relationships

  • Engage with business development initiatives and maintain strong client service standards

  • Stay across evolving legislation and case law affecting your practice area

Ideal candidate:

  • 3–4 years’ PAE, ideally with exposure to public liability or insurance litigation

  • Able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with team members

  • Strong document management and legal research skills

  • Clear, client-focused communication style

  • Practical mindset with a focus on delivering commercial outcomes

  • Previous experience with or interest in business development
