About this Role
We are working closely with a national commercial law firm seeking a talented Insurance Litigation Lawyer to join its high-performing team in Melbourne. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with at least 3 years' post-admission experience (PAE), looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, dynamic, and well-resourced environment.
You’ll work alongside a respected and experienced team on a diverse range of complex litigated matters including:
Public liability
Professional indemnity
Self-insurance defence work

Minimum 3 years' PAE, ideally in insurance litigation (other litigation experience also considered)
Experience managing litigated insurance and/or self-insurance matters
Exposure to drafting legal documents, advices, and engaging in negotiations
Confidence working under supervision with the ability to run files independently
Strong attention to detail and solid academic record
Excellent understanding of relevant statutory frameworks and case law
A genuine interest in insurance law and dispute resolution
