We are partnering with a premier international law firm to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic lawyer to join their high-performing Investment Funds practice in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal and commercial skills within one of the largest and most experienced investment funds teams globally.
About the Role
You will work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting partners and senior lawyers on technically challenging and often internationally focused matters. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing investment fund formation documentation such as trust deeds, limited partnership deeds, management agreements, information memoranda, and product disclosure statements
Drafting transaction documents related to investment funds
Advising on corporate and financial services laws applicable to investment managers
Assisting global investment managers operating in the Australian market
Liaising with regulators and industry bodies
Coordinating with K&L Gates offices globally to support Australian clients with overseas operations

About You
2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in investment funds and/or financial services regulation; junior lawyers with strong interest will also be considered
Strong technical skills with a practical and proactive approach
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to teamwork
Outstanding organisational, written, and verbal communication skills
Client-focused with a collaborative mindset
