A well-established mid-tier law firm with multiple offices across Australia is seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant to join its Employment and Immigration team based in the Sydney CBD.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal support professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, varied environment while supporting senior lawyers and delivering high-quality client service.
Reporting to senior members of the team, this full-time position will see you providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including:
High-level legal secretarial and administrative assistance
Liaising professionally with clients and external stakeholders
Diary and calendar management
Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements
Drafting correspondence and court documents
Preparing briefs to Counsel
File and document management, including opening and closing files
General ad-hoc office administration duties
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in employment or industrial relations (preferred)
Confidence communicating with clients and professionals at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
High attention to detail and excellent file management practices
Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook capability
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
