Legal Assistant – Personal Injury & Litigation

Sydney CBD | Full-time

An established mid-tier law firm with multiple offices across NSW and Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Legal Assistant to join its Historical Abuse & Litigation team based in Sydney.

This is a full-time opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and supportive team on a broad range of personal injury and litigation matters, including workers’ compensation, work injury damages (WID), motor vehicle accidents (MVA), and public liability.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to continue developing their career within a reputable and collaborative legal practice.


The Role

• Preparing standard correspondence and legal documentation
• Direct liaison with clients and external stakeholders
• Extensive diary and calendar management
• Organising meetings and travel arrangements
• Assisting with high-volume correspondence and court documents
• File and document management, including opening and closing files
• General administrative support to the legal team as required


About You

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a legal or professional services environment (preferred)
• Understanding of personal injury matters and procedures (highly regarded)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence communicating with clients and professionals at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Law students and paralegals will not be considered for this full-time position.
