Legal Assistant / Secretary – Estate Planning Location: Sydney CBD | Hybrid (1 day WFH after probation) Salary: Up to $110k package
The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Secretary to support a leading Estate Planning team. You’ll be working closely with a highly regarded Partner and her practice, across estate planning, probate and trust accounting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in the area who’s looking for a long-term role in a supportive, professional team.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, formatting and managing legal documents (wills, powers of attorney, probate applications and trust-related documentation).
Liaising with clients, barristers, accountants and financial advisers.
File and diary management, including scheduling meetings and managing deadlines.
Assisting with trust accounting, billing and file opening/closing.
Supporting the team with administration and client-focused tasks.
About You To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
At least 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally in estate planning, probate or commercial law.
Experience working with complex assets, high-net-worth clients and SMSFs will be highly regarded.
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
Proven loyalty and stability in previous roles — we are looking for someone who values longevity and commitment.
A proactive, professional approach and ability to work autonomously.
