Global leading firm are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Corporate/Commercial Legal Secretary to ensure seamless practice operations.

This Global leading firm who provide advice for a number of the worlds’ largest and most prominent organisations.  Their clientele work with them in regard to world-wide high profile transactions, projects and disputes which means their matter work is second to none.

The Corporate M&A team are now in need of a strong intermediate to senior legal secretary/EA to join their department. Providing support across a Partner and wider team your secretarial expertise will be in demand.  Your daily duties will include
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to professionals in the corporate and commercial/M&A department.
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit (including track changes) legal documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Travel co-ordination
  • File and organise legal documents, ensuring compliance with firm policies and deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing documents for corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing deals.
  • Manage confidential client information with discretion.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, legal professionals, and other parties.
  • Monthly billing and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as a legal secretary, preferably in a corporate or commercial law practice.
  • Education: Diploma or certificate in legal administration or related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document formatting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal practice management software (Aderant highly regarded)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
