Associate – Insurance (General) | Sydney
An opportunity is available for an experienced Associate to join a rapidly growing Insurance practice within one of Australia’s largest national legal partnerships. This role offers exposure to a broad range of insurance matters, a significant national client base, and clear pathways for career progression.
The role
Working within a well-established Sydney-based insurance team
Acting on subrogated recoveries and the defence of public liability claims
Pursuing recoveries across multiple insurance classes including property, homeowners, contents, motor, goods in transit, travel and strata
Direct client engagement and collaboration with colleagues across the national practice
About you
3+ years’ post-qualification experience
Strong legal, analytical and drafting skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Motivated, proactive and solutions-focused approach
Interest in expanding experience across additional classes of insurance and reinsurance
Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers (for Associate-level candidates)
